It's all about me today ... relax, eat, read, blog, be lazy. Just doing the fun things I want to do. And since I was thinking that I never post any pic with me in on this blog, I decided that it was time to introduce myself to you readers through a selfies serie I shot this morning.
It's something that probably won't happen again, because I prefer being behind the lens, but today I felt particularly inspired. It's my camera that motivates me the most. I developed a sort of umbilical relationship with it. It's nearly a second baby. Just saying, don't take me too seriously. Or please do :)
I'm not very good at portraiture. "You have to try and put your camera between the skin of a person and his shirt", like Henri Cartier-Bresson said, and this intimidates me. Taking selfies is less tough, I feel more confident because I'm present at my own creation and have an idea of the homogeinity I want to show off. Still, since we're made of different mirros that reflect hidden parts of our identity, sometimes these reveal something that we didn't think would be real.
"I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best." Frida Kahlo
Do you think you got to know me a bit better, now? :)
